THE MATRIX Posted March 20, 2010 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2010 link Abusive, derogatory and even racist behavior directed at House Democrats by Tea Party protesters on Saturday left several lawmakers in shock.Preceding the president's speech to a gathering of House Democrats, thousands of protesters descended around the Capitol to protest the passage of health care reform. The gathering quickly turned into abusive heckling, as members of Congress passing through Longworth House office building were subjected to epithets and even mild physical abuse. A staffer for Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) relayed word to reporters that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-M.D.) had been spit on by a protestor (the protestor was reportedly arrested by Capitol Hill police). Rep. John Lewis (D-G.A.) a hero of the civil rights movement was called a "n----r." And Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) was called a "******," as protestors shouted at him with deliberately lisp-y screams. Frank, approached in the halls after the president's speech, shrugged off the incident. But Clyburn was downright incredulous, saying he had not witnessed such treatment since he was leading civil rights protests in South Carolina in the 1960s. UltraThunderMan Posted March 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2010 The people using those racist terms are only describing themselves. The cops should come and use the full force of the law on these heathens.

acidhead Posted March 21, 2010 #13 Share Posted March 21, 2010 (edited) It doesn't matter if it's 2 or 20 million, that behavior is disgusting and they should be ashamed of themselves. Disgusted?... surprised or shocked at their behavior? LOL... welcome to america. Welcome to the entertainment hub of the planet. The place where it doesn't matter what color, race, sex or religion there is a heckler for everybody. A place where everybody is allowed to remain divided on issues that separate them from everything they have become and everything they want to be! Welcome to the World Wrestling Federation, the Jerry Springer show, Cops, Reality tv, Dr. Phil, Monty and political MSM news. Welcome to the american Federal government level. Monkey see - monkey do. ******* okay all kidding aside.... people are upset and people who have lost everything and have nothing left to lose or are on the verge of losing everything - lose it. The stimulus hasn't worked. People know this but everybody was conned into accepting 2 massive stimulus plans anyhow. People are still losing their jobs and bankruptcy's are still being recorded at record pace. And all the Federal government is doing is concentrating on devising new ways to monitor and spy on the average Joe american. This health care bill is just that - a massively over expensive bill that is digging the debt-pit beyond comprehension. Some thing is going to give eventually to the system - just as the protesters are giving everything they have and more to the politicians who are ignoring their concerns and their frustration. ohio state buckeyes Posted March 21, 2010 #20 Share Posted March 21, 2010 That makes it worse. why ???????????? I'll never support a group of people that fight something they dont even try to understand.. They nothing but a cult controlled by nutjobs.. Where were they when Bush spent enough money to rebuild every school and road in this country fighting a war in Iraq, which had nothing to do with 9/11.
