Still Waters Posted May 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2014 A new study finds that if temperatures rise and more precipitation falls as rain rather than snow, it will reduce the total amount of water in rivers. It is a surprising observation. One might expect the timing of water flow to change but not the overall volume. http://www.bbc.co.uk...onment-27486002
Kenemet Posted May 22, 2014 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2014 That's something to worry about, yes. Will have to dig into the paper more.
+and-then Posted May 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Perhaps more of the water remains in the air as humidity? Just a guess.
