You would think that after YEARS of ghost hunting with all the latestest technology, shows like Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures would have real concrete evidence if ghosts really exsisted. All they get are very bad "EVPs" and a shadow here and there that could be anything. When I fist started watching the show I believed in spirits but after seeing this show over the years I am douting they exsist. All these investigations and NO smoking gun? Really? Any ambigious evidence they do get is always the same. A muffled EVP or a strange shape on the Flir. What seems like GOOD evidence has been exposed on YouTube as VERY hoaxable. I think the shows may be having the opposite intended effect. They are proving that hunting ghosts is a waste of time.

Well I for one believe ghosts exist. Have you even had any ghostly encounters? probably not because you believe it's all a hoax.

It takes people seeing it to believe it I guess...

Thats the problem with pictures and video as evidence , no matter how good the video is , it always could have been faked.

That's just like fact or faked,  some of the things they look into you can tell it's fake just by looking at the original footage, yet they still research it.  I for one believe that ghosts exist seeing that I have had experiences of my own.   But that doesn't mean that everything you see on tv is real,  if their equipment picks up a radio frequency or the such, they can't really tell especialy if it's mixed in with a bunch of static, some of it can just be coincidence.

When I first read your topic title I was going to post "Ghost Hunters has proven GHOST DON'T EXIST" lol. Great minds my friend. Here's the deal with Ghost Hunters, GHI, Ghost Adventures etc. They are all fake. With their "Technology," which isn't even remotely used properly nor scientifically, and all the things they "experience" it's all fake. They have been caught creating events for entertainment purposes. Just like investigating in the dark. We've recently discussed this earlier in the forums. If you have more questions on the night investigations PM me, I'll explain further.

There is no known science to support the paranormal ESPECIALLY for a slot on prime time television.

However, this doesnt mean the paranormal doesnt exist just there isnt a science or methodology to present undeniable evidence for the skeptic.

It's just the way they present themselves in this show and shows like it (but particularly this show). It's presented as if their methods and work are highly researched, tried and true techniques for studying the paranormal. While in reality it's just putting cameras and audio recorders in a dark room and waiting for any kind of vague stimuli. Discount a few vague stimuli you capture here and there as normal, call the rest ghosts, and you start to create a false sense of authority or professionalism.

So in many cases, Ghost Hunters has proven.....

that it is important to not take things at face value, especially in entertainment.

This show, and shows like it, create many skeptics.

Both Ghost Hunters/ Ghost Adventures have gotten some pretty good EVP'S and captured explainable things on film. Hell I even had minor experiences. Both when I was younger and now. Just because there are no paranormal activity during some show's don't mean they don't exist. Ghost's and things aren't things that can happen on Que. It happens when it happens.

i hate writing on this tablet but after watching four seasons, i learned that

1. they need pov cam because i am sick of their bs off camera sighting like when grant saw a face looking at him through thehole in the wall in gettysberg.

2. their evps can be easily faked

3. they use their own theroies as facts.

4. ghost hunters live shown how staged the show is.

5. alot oftheir evidence are as valid as random 1st posters evidence

lets say .. if you ever happen to encounter a ghost ! how are you going to prove that ,what you have seen is a real ghost? or would you just say. .. it could be anything?  the problem is not with the tv serie.. but with the ppl that is watching it .. people like you !. you are just disorientated. you dont know what is real and what is fake. you live in a cloud where everything is blurry .. even with eyes you cant tell what is real !  

and offcours its a waste of time. trying to hunt ghost..   not everybody can see them (1 out of 10000000000 sees them ). and the latest technology ?no we are still to early ,maybe over 1000 years.
i dont watch that kind of tv serie.....  becuase i know ghost are real .. i cant proof it . and i dont need to prove it ! those who believe ,believe .
