Fluoride in water conspiracy

Big Bad Voodoo

Recommended Posts

About 28% of the children in the low-fluoride area scored as bright, normal or higher intelligence compared to only 8% in the "high" fluoride area of Wamaio.

In the high-fluoride city, 15% had scores indicating mental retardation and only 6% in the low-fluoride city.

The study authors write: "In this study we found a significant dose-response relation between fluoride level in serum and children's IQ."

Fluoride is added to 70% of U.S. public drinking water supplies.

Fluoride is the poison...Fluoride is classified as a neurotoxin, just as harmful as lead and aluminum to the human developing brain.

30% of American children have fluorosis (too much fluoride). Over exposure to fluoride can cause osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer in children. Fluoride suppresses the thyroid functions, contributing to depression, and hypothyroidism.

How Much Fluoride in Water Is Safe? Zero. There should be no fluoride added in drinking water! Studies show that over 2.5 ppm is toxic, yet the EPA allows up to 4 ppm in the water.

Why hunter-gatherers do not know of cases of osteoporosis whose older women were active? This is a new disease. The Americans are told that the water they drink flouride creates strong teeth and bones. If this is true why the U.S. has so many osteoporosis?

Why dont they put others nutritions in water?

;):st

Is this a joke? Surely you are jesting, you can't possibly be asking about osteoporosis being present that many years ago in all seriousness.

Cheers,

This has been a conspiracy theory since the 1950's and even then we were making fun of it. See the film "Dr. Strangelove: Or How I learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb"

That is not accurate. Scientists have found osteoporosis in mummies many thousands of years old from more than one location on the planet. Here's some information about that.

This appears to be nothing more than another DOOFUS article.

I was skeptical of the claims since the title of the article and the authors ARE NOT NAMED!

I checked the journal Environmental Health Perspectives. There are no articles about fluoridation in the December 2010 issue.

I found a suggested title: "Serum Fluoride Level and Children's Intelligence Quotient in Two Villages in China."

That article does not exist.

I say this looks like a hoax.

Someone posted this same "conspiracy" before except its not a conspiracy, just journalists clutching at straws.

This is the real study, water contaminated with high levels of fluoride in China.

Fluoride might have some effect on our brains, since everyone's body chemistry is different and we don't even barely understand how our brain really works.

But this being a conspiracy? Can't you guys even consider the possibility of...bureaucratic idiocy? Can't you?! We humans are not as smart as conspiracy theorists want to believe.

Wow. More evidencies! So its true. Can you tell me about those filters? "Someone" try to poison people obviously.

Notice this:

Big Pharma Putting Pharmaceuticals in Water

In 2002, federal scientists discovered that such pharmaceutical drugs are being dumped into the sewer systems and potentially finding their ways back into the drinking water.

I wish I could believe this. But there is a plan turning the whole world into the country or terror, wars because of peace , secret CIA prisons, inventing enemies who live in caves and cells that are impossible to see, the media's controlled by Corps, including the military industrial complex that controls GE NBC CNBC MSNBC and Carlyle Group owns Qwest Communications Insight Cable, mass vaccination of children poisonous vaccines, fake elections, false flag terrorism, "drugs", GMOs, oil wars, chemical traces, depleted uranium and mass extermination of human population! Diabolical secret societies and elites exist.

I think it's these crackpots see studies showing high levels of a chemical is toxic so they come to the conclusion the government is poisoning people.

Tribune Company autonomous media company that owns 11 newspapers Chicago Tribune, LA Times.... entering the 80% of American homes, and controls a large part of television series such as South Park. ;)

USA is controlled by well-organized, very mysterious, determined, ultra agressive oppressors and according to some research secret occult satanic minded.

Is there any scientific studies which show that fluoride helps develop strong bones and teeth?

I am not in favor of fluoridation for a number of reasons. First, the type of fluoride used in water is not sodium fluoride (the fluoride that actually shows a slight improvement in children's teeth) but actually a toxic version of fluoride that would be costly to dispose of without dumping it into the drinking water. Also, comparison between fluoridedated arees and non-fluoridated areas show increased levels of everything from cancer to dementia. http://3.bp.blogspot...s1600/Fig 1.JPG One example (my comp seems to be faulty atm)http://ffwireland.blogspot.co.nz/2013/03/public-health-investigation-of.html

Hi Professor Buzzkill,

Why is North Ireland is non-fluoridated in the first place? If is it good for theeths and bones?

if is it good why country like Austria never has never implemented fluoridation?

You realise sodium fluoride is also toxic?

Netherlands[edit source]

Water was fluoridated in large parts of the Netherlands from 1960 to 1973, when the High Council of The Netherlands declared fluoridation of drinking water unauthorized.[59] Dutch authorities had no legal basis adding chemicals to drinking water if they will not improve the safety as such.[4] Drinking water has not been fluoridated in any part of the Netherlands since 1973.

Sweden[edit source]

In 1952, Norrköping in Sweden became one of the first cities in Europe to fluoridate its water supply.[62] It was declared illegal by the Supreme Administrative Court of Sweden in 1961, re-legalized in 1962[63] and finally prohibited by the parliament in 1971,[64] after considerable debate.

Finland[edit source]

The Finnish government supports fluoridation, although only one community of 70 000 people was fluoridated, Kuopio.[26] Kuopio stopped fluoridation in 1992.[42]

Thanks! One part of mystery solved. What do you think about Americans being told that the water they drink flouride creates strong teeth and bones. If this is true why the U.S. has so many osteoporosis? Ans why dont they put others nutritions in water?

To my understanding fluoride in municipal water was promoted to help with cavities or dental health, and not general bone health. The U.S. has high osteoporosis because there are a lot of factors that impact bone density. Things that can't be helped like age, family history, and later life hormonal changes. And things that can be helped like not consuming enough vitamin D, calcium, fruits and veggies as well as consuming too much of things like sodium, caffeine, protein, and alcohol. An inactive lifestyle can also help contribute to the loss of bone density. The U.S. in a lot of ways has a lot of rather unhealthy eating and exercise habits. There are also medications that can affect bone density and several medical conditions that have serious impact on bone density as well. We have had a general increase in some of these diseases like diabetes, immune disorders, digestive disorders and others, and that plays a factor in the general numbers of osteoporosis rising.

This site has a lot of great information on osteoporosis: http://nof.org/

Why they don't put other stuff in water has a lot of factors like stability of the product or the impacts of too much of a something being consumed or so little there isn't any point in the addition, cost of the addition and testing to ensure the levels are what they are supposed to be.. and if nothing else, the debate about fluoride.
