I just recently had a break up with my boyfriend of 2 and a half years and I'm wondering what the future is bringing me? Is there going to be a reconciliation or are we done for good? soulmates dont exist. And soulmate is an expression used to discribe ones feelings, so only you know if he was your "soulmate" or not. Only because you love someone doesnt mean that your relationship is going to work out.

I believe in soulmates. They do exist IMHO, and I've had my own personal experiences with them.

But we're not necessarily destined to be with soulmates, as is in the case of a romantic relationship.

However soulmates make those very close bonds, and could be a family member, a (best) friend, a lover, or even a pet!

Sorry if you were misled by your interpretation of the term, but the very fact that you got so close, bonded so well and that you're having a hard time getting over it is part of the whole concept. Plus it's not uncommon to have several soulmates. So it's not a dead end if you were lucky to have a relationship (with a soulmate) that ended.

What you take home matters most than what you lost.

Soulmates don't necessarily always relate with an intimate passion of you know I mean it can lead to that but I guess it depends on the Soulmate you connect with . Soulmates are both male and female in your life . Soul mates are not always lovers but just share a special closeness with one another .

There's also the Twin Flame theory which suggest that before we were born we split from our other half somehow and that we search unknowingly for each other Supposidly there is no denial of knowing when you've encountered your other half if you ever meet on earth . If not you will meet again. Supposidly Your Twin Flame is literaly the other half of your soul .
