A lot of people wonder why Muslim women have virtually no rights. I have finally figured out the answer through a LOT of reading. The Muslim male will tell you that the reason is because God (Allah) commands it. Because that is what Mohammed commanded. But they don't tell you why he commanded it. Infidelity and pre-marital sex are two of the most unholy things in the Islamic doctrine. So in order to deal with the problems, they came up with a unique way. They chose to cover up all women so that no man is tempted. Forget how the woman feels about it. In order that they can get into heaven by not sinning, they simply choose to hide their women.....and then claim that Allah commanded it. For anyone who is Muslim here, I am aware already that this may offend you. And, actually, I don't really care. But it's the truth. Although I am a male, I am one that truly believes in equality. And there is not one single woman in the Islamic world who is equal with men. And it's wrong. Completely wrong. If Islamists want everything to be equal, then the men should cover their faces as well. The men should be subject to the same laws as the women are. They shouldn't be showing off their breasts, and wearing the skimpiest thing possible. Mt 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. So, there you have it, if we even look at a woman lustfully (and you would agree that looking at a woman lustfully in one's mind would be the same) then it's the same as having sex with her. Unless, of course, she is your wife. So, that rules out looking at any woman lustfully before you're married too, since God knows everything (even the future) so He knows who you're going to marry. Better safe than sorry, and not look at any women lustfully, because you never know who you're going to marry, but God does. If you're a guy, you gotta be thinking "that's impossible! and it's just guys nature to stare at breasts" well, it wasn't meant to be like that. It's after you've been brainwashed by media that you begin to think that way. You would have to admit, if you never saw a single *spam filter*ually in your life, then you would have little or no sex drive, correct? That means, if you never saw some pop star on tv wearing some ultra-revealing outfit, or anything of the sort, then your sex drive would probably be much much smaller today. God didn't intend for us to see bikini clad women all day on TV. Women aren't objects to be oggled at... they're children of God just like you and me. Because the bible should also say that it would be adultery for a woman to look at a man in a lustful way. God created man and woman. And he created them as equals. Yes we we created with some sex drive, and we were created to have sex, among many other things. But we as men are not supposed to lust over women. We aren't supposed to fantasize about women. If that woman is your wife, then that is a different story, but if she is not, then you should not be thinking about her sexually. And other animals are different. They don't have free will, so when it's time to mate, they go and do it. They don't lust after the females they mate with. Heck, do they even enjow mating? They cannot choose to believe in God or not, because they have no concept of Him. Animals are here for us to study and eat. They would have to reproduce for us to continue studying, or eating them. seeking Posted January 2, 2005 #11 Share Posted January 2, 2005 if i were to kill someone walking down the street that would be a sin, but if a dog was to get in a fight and kill the other dog, why is that not a sin? the dog chose to fight the dog, animals have free will to there potential, humans have more free will but we cant use all of our potential due to fear of consequences thus handicapping our free will, we can still kill someone but we have to realize the consequence, dogs dont have consequences for there actions, there free will is 100% unlimited to thier potential, ours is limited, this is why i say animals have more free will than humans, to me free will is the ability to do what you like with out reguards to anything, if dogs had the mind set to believe in a god, some would and some wouldnt the same as humans, just how if a dog knew he was going to kill the other dog he can do it with out any fear of consequence, humans would always have that fear over our heads hindering our free will, our free will is there, but we have to decide if it is worth the consequence, animals do not have that burden Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then certain parts of the body became "taboo" obviously, since they wore clothes to cover them up, and you could no longer see them. It's like if you have something behind a curtain, and you tell a kid he's not allowed to look behind the curtain until (insert time here)... he's going to want to look behind that curtain. sorta the same concept here. What I'm trying to say is that Muslims shouldn't treat women as though they were dogs. In fact, even a dog in those countries probably has more rights than women do.
