Angelofmercy Posted October 21, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 21, 2004 ok I have an online friend who sent me this. He says the two guys in these pics are students of his, he lives in Texas. These are supposedly real pics of dead Chupacabras. The only claim i am willing to make is that these are pictures of a dead something. I am not familiar enough with texan wildlife to know of what. Any thoughs? http://www.xeronhosting.com/%7Echad/pictur...ters/index.html

Deimos Posted October 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 21, 2004 It's just a dead dog. People ALWAYS call anything dead with big teeth Chupacabra. It's played out.

Canadian Rottweiler Posted October 22, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 22, 2004 Looks like a burnt dog that had mange. It's teeth are quite big for a dog,and VERY clean for a dog.It is most likely a dog.Maybe a chupy, but I don't think so.

mr_halo Posted October 22, 2004 #8 Share Posted October 22, 2004 they always turn out to be dogs... any dead dog or cat is reported as a chupacabra...it doesn't even matter where its found either...

Nobody Posted October 22, 2004 #19 Share Posted October 22, 2004 didn't someone else posted these from a new service near San Antonio, Texas last week? Something about a local vet not being able to identify them as dogs? Then the futher studies were not reported. Seems that they are dogs that are malnurrish from living in the wild and had bad case of manged. The large teeth are a result of the dog actually shrinking after getting manged. Seems that they probably live a long time with the manged and get disfigured. Saw it back in early eighties at A&M. They would catch this poor dogs for study at the vet school. Some people in south texas claim that wild dog and coyotes have been interbreeding for years. Could it be a new dog/coyote breed?
Mysteryman Posted October 22, 2004 #20 Share Posted October 22, 2004 What exactly is a chupacabra? I heard that its some sort of believed to be an extinct dangerous monkey of some sort?

DarkSide Posted October 22, 2004 #22 Share Posted October 22, 2004 Have you ever noticed that people see dogs everyday but when they see a dead one they don't know what the hell it is? Geez, its not that hard of a concept to grasp anyways
Mysteryman Posted October 22, 2004 #23 Share Posted October 22, 2004 Because their so curious to see a chupucabra that they just believe that that something could be a chupucabra, mean time it could only be a burnt dog? Right?
Kerry_King Posted October 22, 2004 #24 Share Posted October 22, 2004 stop thinking about the chupacabra. these recent discoveries have been really interesting, as the links posted in this thread. these could be a new specie , a good discoverie that has nothing to do with chupacabra and people go like " its not a chupacabra, bye". do you think its easy to find new species of mammals, predators, canines, etc?? this topic seems really interesting so stop sitting in front of your computer looking for cryptozoology animals pics to appear and try to get your hands into these studies cause cryptozoology needs more people who can make it a respectable science. Canadian Rottweiler Posted October 22, 2004 #25 Share Posted October 22, 2004 Yes,cryptozoology IS about researching and discovering. Not JUST waiting for other people.
