good ghost hunting (night vision) camera?

So i am looking for a new night vision camcorder for my web series and have been bidding on the Canon XA10 but have lost a few last second bids. I just found the panasonic HC-W850K and its a little bit cheaper.

Pros of each:

Canon XA10:

-XLR adapter (I already have a $250 mic i could use)

-Was a prosumer camcorder back in the day (dont know if it would still be considered that)

-Nice handle for easy holding

Panasonic W850

-Newer, so even though its not a pro camera i think it looks better in daylight video, not sure about night vision

-better zoom

-has a 2nd camera so I could do shots with me in teh corner while the main video would be me exploring haunted locations

- $200 cheaper for a new w850 vs the used xa10

Not sure if there are a lot of ghost hunters on here or what you guys use, but id love opinions on camcorders for ghost hunting and what you recommend.

and looks like both panasonic and sony released cameras for about $1000 that shoot 4k and night shot this month! now i have some research to do, but its hard to find night vision reviews of cameras!
