Israel - UFO or Missile?

Recommended Posts

Just at a glance it looked like a meteorite disintegrating.

Well this exact same thing happened in Norway and they said it was a missle gone wrong, so most likely that is what this is.

Looks like a (failed) ballistic missile launch.

From my private advisory message:

4. First -- disregard EVERYTHING the experts are saying about the 'spiral'

being caused by a failed rocket tumbling out of control.

5. The 'spiral' does NOT look to me to be a sign of a "failed missile test" -- it has

been a common visual feature of Russian missile launches for more than thirty years

and seems associated with a roll maneuver to 'dump' unwanted surplus thrust for

short-range test flights. Since you can't shut down a solid fuel rocket early,

you need to find a way to 'dump' thrust so you don't overshoot a target.

6. One way is to open portals on the sides of the rocket as it burns --

sending much of the thrust out to the sides. Two opposite facing portals

are usually installed, to counterbalance the thrust and not knock it off course.

7. A careful analysis of the infamous 'Norway spiral' several years ago shows

TWIN plumes emerging from the central object, in opposite directions.

8. An alternate method is just to pitch the rocket off 'straight ahead' and

then corkscrew, so as to spray some of the thrust off to the sides and

keep your speed down to what you really need.

9. Otherwise you'll overshoot your intended target.

So what in your opinion where the Russians doing?

Could it be they where using a spylane? (which unloaded the unwanted surplus)

Thanks for posting, Jim.

I'm always interested in other interpretations -- good quality debates hereabouts...

In Soviet days, these launches weren't announced. Ever. Even after.

So you've got to wonder, in years past, how many similar sightings

in the Middle East and elsewhere were made of similar 'light shows' --

but they went without explanation.

They would have been 'UFOs'. Maybe?

But US military intelligence would have KNOWN such reports could have

been connected with top secret Soviet missile tests. They would want to collect

all such reports. Military attaches in countries bordering the USSR would have been

tasked to collect and forward all such reports for analysis regarding the insights

they could provide about the missile tests themselves.

So the DoD's interest in "UFO reports" would have NOTHING to do with

'true UFOs' -- but with what the real cause of the 'UFO repoerts' were,

Soviet missile tests like this one. But they wouldn't have wanted the

Soviets to realize how much such reports were helping analysts.

That explains a lot. This event helps underscore that connection.

So if I understand you correctly the Russians were testing a missile over Israeli or Middle East air space? Is that normal?

Thats just a bad missle launch...ofcourse theres no reports of operations by any military... because none of those countries want media attention to their daily street wars....but then again.. supposivly the ufos get more commom when its closer to our end times...

You're trying too hard to NOT understand. People in the Middle East saw a Russian missile flying hundreds of miles above Kazakhstan. They just misjudged its distance. This happens all the time with UFO reports, you know. This is an example that can teach us about that.

We know the apparition was NE of observers in the Middle East, because even observers in the Caucasus saw it in the northeastern sky -- NOT south of them over the Middle East.

Please open your eyes and your mind. The rocket launching was immediately announced in Moscow and was shown on Moscow TV. There is no indication that anything 'went wrong' with the flight. Spirals have been observed during last-stage operation of Soviet/Russian rockets for more than 30 years, they are NOT a sign of failure. All these facts are findable on the Internet, please free yourself from misinformation.

Your total certainty about this is a little disarming to say the least. I'm not sold on the idea that a missile in Kazakhstan or Astrakhan can be seen from Israel. And BTW both are well north and east of the Caucus mountains

Personally, I don't think any of these types of sightings are missiles. This is definitely something strange. It has been seen over New zealand, as well.

Well, reality goes on existing whatever any of us THINK it should do, so how far away do you think a missile plume CAN be observed under optimum conditions?

At the very start, are you satisfied that the plume would have been:

a) above the horizon as seen from Israel

B) sunlit

c) of noticeable angular size

All of these questions are subject to quantitative analysis. Please check them out.

Its a giant hypnotising device, it subliminally told you all this is just a failed rocket go back to sleep sheeple.

A lot of people just seem to not be able to process the fact that strange things can have such simple explanations.

ITS A ROCKET :)

Check them out how? How do you account for the similar sightings over New Zealand, totally remote from anything the Russians are doing! Ufology is a different world completely to the laboratory. Welcome to the forum. B)
