Dr. Todd Disotell appeared on the Parsec-award winning podcast, Monster Talk, earlier this week to discuss the press release from Dr. Melba Ketchum regarding the Bigfoot DNA study she spearheaded.

Dr. Disotell is a Professor of Anthropology at New York University. His research specialties include primate evolution, genetics and mitochondrial DNA and analytical techniques of phylogenetic systematics.

This story just makes me want to chuckle honestly. In the end, however it doesn't really matter whether anyone ever proves Bigfoot to be true. As long as there is just enough evidence to keep gullible believers in the fold, watching Bigfoot TV shows (which in turn sell Big $ in advertising), buying Bigfoot books and other merchandising, it doesn't matter if anyone ever proves it. People will always believe, simply because they want to. And when humans want to believe something, its pretty easy for them to rationalize just about any source to support that belief.

Interesting, this guy is an expert on such things and he's basically saying what we all said when the article was first posted here. So I have to say to everyone who called it, "Good Job!".
