seeder Posted April 11, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Meet Paul Elkins. Paul is about to prove to you that no matter how small your home is, there are ways to make more efficient use of your space. Paul has been traveling around the country in his “stealth camper.” It’s an absolutely tiny camper that looks like it probably just stores a few of his belongings but Paul explains that he lives inside.Paul spent $150 to make this mobile home. He used some recycled fluted-plastic campaign signs, some pine board he got from Home Depot, duct tape, screws, zip ties, and a $20 used bike. But what’s inside? Insulation, a stove, a bread-pan sink, storage, shelving, a bed, LED lighting, and a skylight! Check out the video below and see for yourself! lightly Posted April 11, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) pretty cool. I made a "motor home" out of a Volkswagon 'bug' once, for myself, wife, and Juniper our kittykat at the time. I could actually stretch out all the way to sleep. it worked great! Also had a small tent for when it was warmer and less windy. We lived in it, and the tent, for 4 months on a cross country camping trip . I thought it was a first.. but, Charles Lindberg also made a bug camper which is on display in a museum in Minnesota . Lilly Posted April 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Camping is one thing...actually living in a postage stamp sized 'home' would be far less appealing.
tcgram Posted April 11, 2016 #5 Share Posted April 11, 2016 That is quite impressive. I don't think I could do something like that, though. I need a bit more room. LOL

Eldorado Posted April 11, 2016 #7 Share Posted April 11, 2016 A normal sane person couldn't live in that full-time, I reckon. You'd go nuts.

lightly Posted April 11, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 11, 2016 (edited) A normal sane person couldn't live in that full-time, I reckon. You'd go nuts. which is why it works fine for me. seriousmously though, you don't have to LIVE inside a tiny camper all the time. We LIVE outside mostly when we take our "tiny camper" trips. You should see my living room in the S. California desert, it's about 600,000 acres. The camper is just for function and storage and a dry bed. When we travel, wherever i am is Home. * Edited April 11, 2016 by lightly
