Echovox question from a newbie!

Echovox app on my cell phone keeps crashing, but I noticed that it didn't save the recordings in .wav format... The recordings are there, but they're under .wav.raw format. Does anyone know if I can convert these into a wav/mp3 format so I can listen to them?
