A mother-of-six who was forced out of a £2million home in one of London's most expensive areas after the government introduced a cap on housing benefit is demanding the council rehouse her in the same neighbourhood so her children can attend an elite school.

She's entitled to living in luxury off the tax payers while everyone that works can't afford to live there. Stories like this make me sick.

If they do rehouse here I want to see those who authorize it up in court!!!

people will always try it on, but those who grant it should be the ones who are punished.

why should she live in a house were the rent is £1.200 a week. - this is where the benefits system falls down. after reading the whole article it sounds like she should be done for benefit fraud it states 'Companies house records shows that her husband owns an online clothes store, and shes listed as the companies secretary - i just hope she is found guilty made to pay the whole amount back. then deported. its people like her who do disservice to the real people who need help with benefits.

Well maybe if the thatcher government hadn't of introduced the right to buy council houses which led to social housing being greatly reduced and if any government since had of invested in building modern large scale social housing to meet the demand then maybe people through no fault of there own wouldn't be housed in expensive properties.

It there was adequate social housing which would ease the huge numbers of people on waiting lists then people wouldn't have to rent from expensive private properties.

Again goes back to the self hate snobbery this country is inflicted with that we hate the poor for being poor,

The unfair capitalist system we live in failed to provide them with employment which would cover their cost of living.

Mortgage holders have to pay expensive insurance so their mortgage can be paid if they lose their jobs, they should introduce the same for tenants.

i agree with most of what you wrote, am not to sure about hating the poor for being poor. - i think the mindset of people has changed over the years. - If you live in social/council housing, its because you are by all intents and purposes homeless. the house you get is not yours - you are merely the tenant. social/council housing was always meant to give the poor a place to live until they could better themselves. - but understandably people within time come to see 'their' council house as their home, their pride and joy - they might live in a council house for decades raising their family and retiring there. - but if we roll the clock back to when these people got the advantage - housed in these newly built councils houses back in the day - they, by default are now denying the present from the same advantages they had when they first become tenants. its a complex issue, a hard issue for any government. the simple answer is to build more houses but it will take 25 years to achieve what we need today. i agree the selling of council homes, and the drop in building new social housing has not helped but we are where we are today.

If the gates had not been left open we would not need to build more housing, then there would have been enough housing for people like her. Why should our country be build on even more when there is enough housing available out there? if she is that desperate she will take what ever is available.

Shame she could not be that fussy on her contraceptive choice!!

We do not hate the poor for being poor, some of us have just had enough of supporting people who think they can breed as much as they like at our expense.

How can you say this woman is poor, she obviously thinks she is rich enough to breed 6 children...............oh wait, no, she expects US to fork out for them. There IS NO defending these people!!

Most people would love their child to go to the best school, but it does not work that way! Considering she is not paying for the schooling of her children, she should be grateful that they go to school at all........POOR people in poor countries do not always get this advantage!!
