Here is something i found in Encarta and i haven't thought much about it. Where do black holes lead to? Why does it say that if light passes through them then so must time? After much thought i figured that the explosive remnants on the side of the white holes is a sort of recycling realm were matter and energy are redused to there elementary states and then used again somewere else. A kind of rejuvenate universe that may exist outside of our present universe.(Blue_Sphere)

Q: In theory if you go into a black hole, when you come out the other side, would you be in a different time? Because if a black hole sucks in light then wouldn't it suck in time?

A: In principle, you could be in a different time—IF you could go through a black hole and come out somewhere else (the other end would be a location known as a white hole, which is a hypothetical region in space from which stars, light, and other forms of energy explosively emerge). If this were possible, you would be going through a wormhole, a hypothetical passage in space-time connecting widely separated parts of the universe. It is not clear if a wormhole can stay open sufficiently long for anyone to go through it.

With regard to your second question, a black hole doesn't “suck in light.” If light has the bad luck to go inside, it cant get out. But the black holes effect on space outside itself is the same as that of any equivalent amount of mass.

If the weight were extremely heavy, the dent in the mattress would be very deep. A black hole is a curvature of space so extreme that nothing, not even light, can escape. Some scientists have proposed that the opposite also exists: a white hole, out of which matter comes. The question then is whether the black hole and the white hole can be connected, so that matter that goes into the black hole comes out of the white hole. We call this link a wormhole. Once you enter the black hole you are pulled inward and are eventually crushed. Wormholes can, in principle, connect two regions of space without the extreme warp of a black hole.

Interesting, so it's like the wormholes connected can act like a bridge between the long distances?

Interesting thought. Yes, i believe that is so. I wonder what the distance is between the black hole and the supposed white hole. Makes you wonder how long it takes for the matter to pass through to the other side.

The unification of a black hole and a white hole would make a tunnel in space and time and would be what we call a wormhole, it is also believed scientifically that wormholes could let us travel between parallel universes, that means that we would be able to travel to travel to other universes apart from our own. Of course this would bring up the theory of Multiuniverses.

But white holes havent been sighted or their influence and so there is no evidence of their existence.

First of all, matter falling into a black hole doesn't have to go somewhere else; it can stay in the hole-falling forever. First: matter falling into a black hole will continue to accelerate towards, but not reaching the speed of light. This causes extreme time dilation in the affected matter. Second, the gravity well itself will strongly dilate time. So: matter inside a black hole will have it's relative time slowed more and more, so matter will approach, but never necessarily reach singularity.

Second: what is a white hole? A whit hole is a region of space whereupon energy and matter is emitted, and in such a random fashion where it is impossible to tell anything about it's origin (sorry space-travelers, going through a wormhole necessitates randomization of all of your data). Are there such objects? Yes: they are called black holes. Black holes emit Hawking radiation: electromagnetic radiation whose intensity and frequency are inverse to the size and mass of the black hole. Thus: I propose that black are indeed connected with white holes-themselves.

The speed of which you get sucked in would be so great you would probably de-molecularize or something. Atleast that's what I assume.

Speghettifacation: The process of being stretched into component parts by the tidal forces (the difference between gravity gradients at two different points in space) as one approaches or enters a black hole.

Think of stretching out dough into long noodles. Now, as you fall, feet first, towards a black hole, your feet are closer, and expierience an exponentially greater gravitational force (and thus acceleration) than your head. Alas, as the differences approach o hundred gravities, you head and feet must part company. As the gradient increases, less and less distance is needed for greater tides, and your very cells get "spaghettified". :geek:

Some stars encounter black holes and are thrown into another orbit (gravitational slingshot effect), and thus do not enter a closer orbit. Other stars orbit black holes, and maintain an eliptical orbit for some time, like around Sag A*, at the center of the Milky Way.

Sometimes gas clouds enter into a black hole, and the resulting light emissions tell astronomers this is apparently the case. Any molecules or atoms probably get pretty warped by general relativity effects, as they cross the threshold. I can think of no way they would not.

There was some talk, a long time ago, that Seyfaert Galaxies are in fact White Holes... haven't looked at this for a while so I expect to be severely ostracised for thinking such a thing.

I think also that acceleration must equal the speed of light to prevent light from escaping a black hole.

Another thing, spacetime itself is elongated and as we actually exist within spacetime then as the fabric stretches then so do we but that it is a "field - effect" such that it would not actually Spaghettify us, so to speak. :o

There was some talk, a long time ago, that Seyfaert Galaxies are in fact White Holes...

Im going to see if they're is pics of those galaxies somewere.
