Kittens Coloured-in by Abusers

Cruel abusers coloured two kittens in blue and green using Sharpie pens.

The kitties, who are only four-weeks-old, were discovered covered in permanent ink by animal centre volunteers.

I agree, El. A local "man" of 18 recently went into another man's home and while taking care of whatever "business" he had, he decided to light the guys dog on fire. My blood BOILS when I hear things like this. The dog was taken to a vet and treated but got an infection and had to be euthanized. To compound the tragedy, apparently here in my little piece of heaven, he will get more of a penalty for the "criminal trespass" charge than he will for the horrific animal cruelty. They posted his arrest picture in the local paper and his eyes were just... dead. No emotion. Sometimes I'd like to sit down with a person like that and talk to them and try to understand what it is that removes all compassion and allows them to find entertainment in the suffering of innocents. Because I just don't get it.

Every time I read something like this, the word seems a little bit darker. The human on human crimes are so bad, the cruelty for no reason to defenseless creatures is...Insanity!
