Alien. nothing else has ever left a lasting impression.

BurnSide Posted August 3, 2004 #13 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Me and the girl rented the first halloween movie not to long ago. We both found it to be the bi9ggest pile of CRAP ever created. not only does NOTHING happen for 9/10s of the movie, but when it finally does happen, it's worth nothing more than an eye-roll. we took the movie back to the videostore, and we made such a scene they gave us our money back. crap crap crap crap crap. Shakezulah Posted August 4, 2004 #18 Share Posted August 4, 2004 why do so many people think The Ring is scary. its not even a generqlly good movie. it sucks. its so boring and slow paced and it doesnt even make sense most of the time. that movie is a big steaming pile of crap. BurnSide Posted August 4, 2004 #19 Share Posted August 4, 2004 It's intellectually and psychologically scary. Only smart people get it.

BurnSide Posted August 4, 2004 #21 Share Posted August 4, 2004 (edited) I'm just kidding mate. In all seriousness, i'm guessing you prefer horror movies with a BOO! aspect to them? Cause that's not what the Ring was about. IMO the storyline was fantastic, it all made sense perfectly and it was the story itself that was frightening, not the events that happen. Some people prefer Kruger/Jason/Scream/BOO blood and gore movies, other people prefer dark, slow, psychological movies. All a matter of opinion. Guest Posted August 4, 2004 #22 Share Posted August 4, 2004 The Ring was creepy as hell. Then again, I couldn't sleep with the light off for 2 weeks after Blair Witch. I'm a big wuss.

I liked it because it was nice to know that there was someone else out there that had a warped and twisted mind like me. Shakezulah Posted August 4, 2004 #24 Share Posted August 4, 2004 i dont find gore movies scary. i find them highly entertaining because i love to see stuff like that. i like movies that have more intense situations. but all together, movies dont really scare me at all. games scare me more than anything.
