Chances are Obama is going to whomp McCain in the general election. I like both of them, and am still unsure who to vote for, but I'm pretty sure Obama will destroy McCain. I think the Obama-haters might as well get used to it.

Obama's ideas are - well, Democartic and for the People in a Direct way.

McCain's - same trickle down **** that works sometimes and doesn't work other times.

Figure it out.

Obama? Landslide victory over McCain - won't even be close, in my view.

If this economic melt-down hadn't happened I wouldn't have agreed, but yes. McCain will suffer from the backlash against the Republican economic policies and a lot of voters who might have stayed at home will now go to the polls. They are angry and want change.

I agree with you.

Lesser of two evils (just how I see it).

You have some of the most beautiful children, if I might say. (I have Grandbabies, so I can't give your babies a perfect score, you understand, I'm sure.) Are you stopping at 2 or will it be a true Irish brood?

Obama might very well win, but he certainly isn't the lesser of the two evils, in my humble opinion. How could a Marxist/Socialist/Taliban Supporter be the lesser of the two evils? It's now common knowledge that he is friends with the individuals who bombed the World Trade Center the first time. You WANT this guy to lead your country? ON PURPOSE? "HE" is the "change" we're so called looking for?

I am also of the opinion that no matter who wins this election? Neither one of them- MOST ESPECIALLY BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA will be able to fix the mess we're all in or the ripples of effects of our times that are going to hit us in the future.

I'm going to use my incredible psychic powers and read from your mind that you are not an Obama fan. The reasons for which you no doubt have cast-iron proof, and not just rumour, to back up your (some might say libellous) statements?

Obama is going to win and it has nothing to do with policies. Let's face it, each part has a base that will always vote with them for ideological reasons. Then there are the undecideds who are swayed by who knows what. These undecideds follow popular opinion and polls.

-People hate Bush

-Bush is a republican

-McCain is a republican

-Obama isn't a republican.

-Landslide victory

How McCain has kept it so close is beyond me.

Marxist? Taliban? Neither candidate is Marxist or Taliban. Socialist? Both candidates have socialist ideas. Are you going somewhere with this?

MOST ESPECIALLY BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA

HE HAS A MIDDLE NAME! Can you imagine the fallout if we elect a candidate with a middle name?!! With this whole middle name controversy, I assume you support John McCain. John Sidney McCain. GOOD GOD! THEY BOTH HAVE MIDDLE NAMES! This country is screwed.

Is this the first election where middle names are said as if they were a dirty word?

Not sure really why some suddenly become so sensitive about it. I mean the media been calling Hillary, Hillary Rodham Clinton even since she ran for the Senate and it was non issue.

I'm not certain this qualifies as 'being for the people', but here is an overview of the economic policy Obama and Biden are campaigning on. Of course, how much prosperity this will bring is all relative - the economy being depressed as it is.

Answer my question about Barack Hussein Obama and you will get your answer.

Your turn.

Welcome to the Internet, where your opinions, as poorly thought out and illogical as they are, are given an arena.

I bet that Obama wins too.

The Bush / Cheney regime really damaged the Republicans. They pulled " Conservatisism " right out of the Republican party. So mcCain is left holding the bag. But it appears that their last ditch effort is to keep pounding away at Obama's connection to Bill Ayers and the hope that it sticks in voter's minds come election day.

Y'know, as this election season winds down, I'm seeing Hillary's shaming herself with the infamous "kitchen sink" campaign in the primaries really being the greatest gift she could have given Obama. Her campaign dug up every bit of dirt there was to find on Obama and now EVERYTHING McCain brings up is old news, played out and has already failed. She showed the intelligent observer that this kind of negative campaign, when used against Barack Obama, will not bring him down, and in the end will surely backfire. And Hillary, I think it's fair to say, ideology aside, was a stronger contender than McCain. What gets me is that these politicians seem to have only one solution to losing--hate and smears. Am I the only one that thinks that kind of campaign simply deserves to lose?

You like both of them??? I think they are both idiots.

I am not the smartest person in the world but I am a thinker. Example during the debate the other night all I heard was stumbling and bumbling. Neither candidate has an answer for our economic woes and both have policies that would make it worse.

The U.S is doomed maybe on purpose ... seems that way.

Let the economy fail ... without government interference. Look at the great depression. History shows that the government intervened causing it to last a whole lot longer than it should have. This is what happens with big government and it is happening again.

This is coming from a democrate ... SHOOSH and ENOUGH ranting about fox news. They are the only ones that at least have the balls to show both sides of the issues and opinions from both parties.

I once hated them just as some of you do. The only difference is that I watched before I took my hate too far and found an actual non biased news channel. Some of their conservative views are a little over the edge but I do not see CNN, CBS and especially not MSNBC doing the same.

We democrates are going to have to stop with the hate which is blinding a lot of us. By the way when I say we democrates I do not include the likes of Obama and Pelosi. They are socialists pure and simple. I am a liberal thinker and I thinker I will not vote for a socialist. Hate to say it but hey.

What makes you think that this decline in economy isn't a carefully monitored scheme to increase dependance on the government itself? Why would they have sensible workable solutions to a non-problem?

LOL. My father said the exact same thing. "Before this stock market ****, I would have said McCain was going to win."

Thank you. For now we are stopping at 2, but in a few more years we plan on having more.
