GuardianAngel Posted March 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2005 where is GOD? Where is God Two brothers are terrible trouble makers. They are always breaking things, stealing things, lying, and making all kinds of general trouble. The parents have tried everything to get the boys to change, to no avail. Finally, out of options, they ask their pastor if he can help. He says he will talk to the boys, but only one at a time. The parents drop off the youngest and go home, promising to return to get him soon. The boy sits in a chair across from the pastor's desk and they just look at each other. Finally, the Pastor says, "Where is God?" The boy just sits there and doesn't answer. The pastor begins to look stern and loudly says, "Where is God?" The little boy shifts in his seat, but still doesn't answer. The pastor is starting to get angry at the boy's refusal to converse and practically shouts "Where is God?" To the pastor's surprise, the little boy jumps up out of his chair and runs out of the office. The boy leaves the church and runs all the way home, up the stairs and into his brother's room. He shuts the door and pants, "We're in BIG TROUBLE. God's missing and they think we did it!"
Faeden Posted March 18, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2005 Before Time Was Before time was, there was The One; The One was all & all was The One. And the vast expanse known as the Universe was The One, allwise, all-pervading, all-powerful, eternally changing. And Space moved. The One moulded energy into twin forms equal but opposite, fashioning the Goddess and God from The One and of The One. The Goddess & God stretched and gave thanks to The One, but darkness surrounded them. They were alone, solitary save for The One. So they formed energy into gases and gases into suns and planets and moons; They sprinkled the Universe with whirling globes and so all was given shape by the hands of the Goddess and God. Light arose and the sky was illuminated by a billion suns. and the Goddess and Gods, satisfied by their works, rejoiced and loved, and were one. From their union sprang seeds of life, and of the human race, so that we might achieve incarnation upon the Earth. The Goddess chose the Moon as her symbol, and the God the Sun as his symbol to remind the inhabitants of Earth of their fashioners. All are born, live, die and are reborn beneath The Sun and Moon; all things come to pass thereunder, and all occurs with the blessings of The One, as has been the way of existence before time was......... When the gods were young they created people for there own amusement, but that these first human beings could not forget where they had come from, all they wanted to do was to return to paradise. So the gods took them back and thought about creating another batch. But first they had to decide where they would hide so that the humans wouldn't find them and spoil the game. If they hid on the moon the humans would eventually develop rockets and search the universe until they found their creators. If they hid in the depths of the ocean, mankind would find ways to explore the abyss and seek them out. The highest mountains and even the center of the earth would not be safe as long as man remained insatiably curious about his origins and his purpose in the world. Finally the goddess of wisdom came up with the perfect solution. the gods would hide in the hearts of men because that is the one place they would never think of looking for them. all the best Faeden
