Former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. was charged Friday with scheming to spend $750,000 in campaign funds on personal expenses and his wife was charged with filing false income tax forms.

I personally think that as long as it is not taxpayer money, they should be able to spend campaign funds on whatever they want.  Would ensure that contributors really take a good look at the character of the people they are giving money to.

The contributors very often to turn out to be dodgiest. Probably some rich company boss who has been ripping his customers off for years.....or some baptist minister contributing some of the charity money given to him at the services.
