Shadow Person?

This is my first post here, so hello. I have a paranormal question and was hoping for some insite/opinions.

I live in a house with my husband and 3month old baby. We have lived here about 4 months and haven't had anything negative go on in that time. There has been nothing strange at all. That is until a few days ago.

My husband had left for work already, and I was trying to catch a few more z's before I had to get ready for work myself. Our baby's bassinet is at the foot of our bed, but she usually sleeps through the night. She began fussing at probably 6 in the morning, and I was only sleeping lightly.

I waited, laying with my eyes shut, to see if it was a small fuss and if she would just go back to sleep. Alas, she began crying so I opened my eyes and sat up. That's when I saw it.

Keep in mind I was 100% awake at this point, and the room was quite light. But there to the left of the bassinet, about 5' tall, was an incredibly black mass. It wasn't shaped like anything, and it wasn't moving, just hovering. It moved quickly to the left and vanished as soon as I saw it.

I didn't feel like it was "bad" or "evil", but it did startle me a bit. I've read a bit on "shadow people", and the verdict seems quite mixed.

What do you think? Is it a fluke? An entity? What are your thoughts?

Well, it could be what you're saying but from my experiences of waking up my eyelashes sometimes get tied up causing a blur or shadow from that eye. Perhaps that was the case and the baby only stirring because it's starting to get light out. My boy is up the second he sees light through the window.

I catch myself always trying to get that last few minutes of sleep but nope. At that very point it's diaper changes, breakfast and activities until

the bags under my eyes start a new set of wrinkles.

I would definitely keep your eyes and ears open for anything suspicious over the next couple of days-weeks. Are you a religious person?

I am, but my religion doesn't really deal with the paranormal, at least not in this sense.

I also can't use sage, before anyone asks. I'm deathly allergic.

"shadow people", ... the verdict is quite mixed. You said you fell no evil or bad from it. That's what I've felt

when I've seen them..... I'd still wait & keep watching though!... strange,... that's odd that it had no shape.

Are you religious ? (sorry about the edit)

If it's actually some type of entity and you want it gone, the LBRP works. You can find it online. No sage required. You may want to make it a regular practice to balance things out.

Here are a couple of photographs of shadow entities that I have in my archive. I have a vast collection of paranormal photographs and screenshots. They can be photographed though the vast majority of the time when one shows up in a their photo, they did not see it at the time when the photograph was captured. This is because they zip by very quickly hence why if one really wants to capture them by film if one has been seeing them flitting about in their home or elsewhere, keeping a videocam "on" in the area where they have been showing up is a better way to capture them by cam.

Should be noted that when photographed, there is a certain amount of photographic distortion of the entity. So if one was seeing them in the shape of a human, it may only show up on film as a dark blob or a dark vortex.

If someone claims their photo is showing a shadow being where it's edges are crisp and clean and the shape is very defined... it's a fake. They don't photograph like that. lol

Pareidolia most likely. You had just woken up--it doesn't matter if you sleeping lighty or not--and the shadows were playing a trick on your mind. It's very common.

Try setting up a camera and see what you can catch next time.

Thorvir has it correct. Pareidolia is a strong contender for "blobs" being seen, especially after waking up or in a drowsy state. Additionally, if you see it again, I'd talk to a doctor about Eye Floaters.
