A leading cosmologist believes there may be evidence that an exotic form of dark matter was ultimately responsible for the catastrophe that wiped out the dinosaurs. Professor Lisa Randall, a theoretical physicist at Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts, believes an unconventional form of dark matter may have provided the 'kick' that pushed a lethal comet on a collision course with the Earth.
