Still Waters Posted January 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2013 A Welsh holidaymaker has been hailed a hero for wrestling a shark that was swimming towards children on a beach in Queensland, Australia. Paul Marshallsea, 62, from Merthyr Tydfil, grabbed the two-metre long shark by the tail on Bulcock Beach and dragged it out to deeper water. He narrowly missed being bitten as the shark suddenly lunged at his leg. Dusky sharks of this type are considered potentially dangerous to humans, according to experts. http://www.bbc.co.uk...-wales-21118440
freetoroam Posted January 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) I actually like this story, nice they took the shark back out to the deeper waters, instead of trying to kill it because it may have been a danger. Good on these guys. Must say it have been a great white, things might have been a lot different, like his leg! I almost expected something similar to this. >>>>
Ashotep Posted January 21, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Glad it all ended well for man and beast. If it had been bigger this may of not been the story.
