I have seen videos of a long tether that NASA uses which looks a bit like these things, however the movement in some of the video looks almost organic and alive at other times not. But it is curious that with so little atmosphere in space that these objects can oscillate back and forth, and twist into various shapes. The video seems to show these things both in and outside of our atmosphere, very strange indeed.
