Simbi Laveau Posted November 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2012 (edited) This IS just a rumor ,but a reporter pal of mine said...he heard Bill Clinton ,and some adviser of his,have been pouring over the ins and outs of the 25th amendment I believe,which designates the number of terms a president can have ,and he's trying to figure a way to run for a third term . My politicos here in nyc said Hilary would have run ,if Romney had won ,but now they think she won't . If she won't ,Bill just may try . It's like its an addiction for him . I think you are probably partly right...but he isn't trying to figure how he can run again...he is trying to figure how Obama can run again. If they can undo that Presidential Limit thing...Obama for life...that's the plan...has been all along.... ...that is what is so diabolical about ObamaCare...in the end...it guarantees the Democrats eternal power... If I recall, the rules (traditions) required that presidents possess three things: 1. Must be an American citizen, 2. Must be 35 years of age minimum, and 3. Must be white. If these traditions can be altered, I don't see why the control group couldn't throw in a new breaking of the rule-Can only serve 2 terms maximum. Ya know? No, I don't know. How is it a conspiracy .It's a political rumor,actually mentioned to me by a news reporter from a major nyc news station . He said Bill is jonsing for the Whitehouse . No mention of Obama for a third term . I'm just saying what I was told . I found it interesting is all . Not for nuthin ,I think he would be re elected if he did run . A friend of mine who lives overseas in Egypt as an Expat voted by email this year. I don't believe thats yet available for everyone yet in my state, but I think it's coming. We've already eliminated polling places here. Mail is the only option now. You can either put a stamp on it and mail it, OR you can drop it off at a nearby manned drop box. Obviously, when these things were framed, it would be automatically assumed that any President would be White, but even if that was still a requirement, surely no one's going to try to say that it should still be adhered to should they?! * Anyway, has everyone forgotten Franklin D. Roosevelt? It says on the Pedia, The two-term tradition had been an unwritten rule (until the 22nd Amendment after Roosevelt's presidency) since George Washington declined to run for a third term in 1796, and both Ulysses S. Grant and Theodore Roosevelt were attacked for trying to obtain a third non-consecutive term. So it seems to have only been an official rule since 1951. I didn't want to have to vote for Romney...he was my LAST choice...I wanted Cain..because he was black...because I figured...if Cain is nominated...that takes the whole Race Issue away, as you would have both candidates being black...then it would boil down to which black man had the better ideas...and Caines ideas, and resume so far outsurpass Obama's that it isn't even comparible.
