+susieice Posted September 14, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 14, 2012 (edited) The article says the dog disappeared when the man died then showed up at the cemetery. Poor animal may feel guilty that he wasn't there when his owner passed. Now the dog won't leave him again. What a sad yet beautiful story. EllJay Posted September 15, 2012 #11 Share Posted September 15, 2012 I couldn't drive past that poor thing..I would pull over and nab him and take him home.. Someone suggested the dog just sat there to blow a fart in the puddle for effect. That kind of takes away the heartbreaking impression one initially had. But I would do just as you, pick the dog up and take him home.
