Are you traveling to the Faeroe Islands to view the upcoming total solar eclipse? I'm in the US where we're expected to travel to the nearest place on the path of totality in an eclipse on August 20(?), 2017. I was 11 years old when I watched the total solar eclipse on live TV (being no school in summer on July 11, 1991) from Hawaii and Mexico in Cabo San Lucas in Baja and Mexico City, home to over 20 million residents. Northern France had the August 11, 1999 total solar eclipse crossed them.
