Evangium Posted January 20, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2008 I'll admit that when it comes to the Roswell event, I really think that it has never been honestly investigated. Most of what is known comes from investigators opting for a tabloid journalistic approach to covering it, so when held to critical analysis all sorts of holes have been picked in it. So when I decided to add my two cents in a Roswell thread, I went digging for information to support my argument. During the course of this I uncovered an interesting essay that puts forward an avenue of investigation that appears to have been overlooked by researchers on both sides, a detailed archeological survey. I'm putting it up here purely for discussion about it's merits and potential failings, so please try to keep in mind that in this discourse it is assumed that something crashed at Roswell and Corona. In this case it isn't necessary to debate whether or not it is 'known' to be a balloon, aircraft, meteor or UFO, since a proper survey will establish this. Greg Fewer - Searching for Extraterrestrial Evidence Sadly the weblink in the essay is dead, so we can't go to his webpage to see what else he has to offer. At least the essay is still there to see. In the course of my searching, I've also found an aircrash that could prove that a survey at Roswell and Corona is viable. Please keep in mind that it's just a weird coincidence that the aircraft in this example is a flying wing. I'm not putting it out there that a YB-49 went down over Roswell Glenn Edward's YB-49 This plane went down in 1948. I don't know how the Mojave compares to the area around Roswell, but this site has certainly seen more interference over the last 60 years than Roswell. So what do we think? Definitely an interesting period in the history of aviation design Luft 46 Interesting to see how some of those designs have been expanded on today, isn't it?
