Render Posted December 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2012 Using deceptive behavioral patterns of squirrels and birds, researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have developed robots that are able to deceive each other. The research is funded by the Office of Naval Research and is led by Professor Ronald Arkin, who suggests the applications could be implemented by the military in the future. The research is highlighted in the November/December 2012 edition of IEEE Intelligent Systems. Might make a good cartoon. Squirrels are already organizing... First they get all liquored up... Then they grab their wepaons and attack! Recently they awared the coveted "Acorn Cluster" medal to Sgt Fuzzy McNutz... But they are not having it all their own way! Some are fighting back...
