Indiogene Posted March 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2014 Last night, a M6.9 earthquake epicentered offshore 50 miles west of Eureka rocked this corner of Northern CA. Earthquakes are common in the coastal portion of Humboldt county by numerous faults. By luck, no tsunami warnings nor injuries were reported. https://news.yahoo.com/powerful-quake-shakes-n-california-no-injuries-094626914.html;_ylt=A0SO80Yyth1TdgcAD4Kl87UF;_ylu=X3oDMTBsdXY5cjk3BGNvbG8DZ3ExBHZ0aWQDBHNlYwNzYw--
Doug1029 Posted April 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2014 We got a 4.0 in Oklahoma on Saturday morning (4/19/14). Knocked over a stack of samples in my lab. I had no idea how much dirt was still in those things! What a mess! Damage minor, though. Doug
