freetoroam Posted March 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Hi Freetoroam, its attached to the clip on youtube. It shows an angels shape, its a burned old fabric, so its said in the video Ok, thanks. That's enough for me. In this instance the old burned rag is enough for me not to waste my broadband on a youtube video.

Still Waters Posted March 20, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Hello Marcus, welcome. Is this your video and are you the hiker? If not please share your opinion too.
MarcusWhite Posted March 20, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Hi Waters, no i am not the hiker. The hole area is very catholic. So in my opinion maybe it has been droped there, but not in a bad intension. Perhaps to give hope to somebody. Or its just a joke,
Grandpa Greenman Posted March 20, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon involving a stimulus (an image or a sound) wherein the mind perceives a familiar pattern of something where none actually exists.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia Is my humble opinion. Well come to UM.

toast Posted March 20, 2016 #11 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Wanna start a discussion and i'm interested in your opinion. - its claimed that the fabric was inside the stone that shows up at 00:38 into the vid - in addition to the stone, a little green leaf can be seen in the lower left corner and a little young plant at the bottom - these 2 objects have a dimension of roughly 2 to 5 cms in diameter, so the stone is roughly 10 to 20cms in diameter - at 00:42 into th vid, the fabric is placed on a blue clingwrap - this clingwrap was a garbage bag that has been sliced at the bottom and at one side to unfold it to a bigger surface - one the same image, a little yellow stripe can be seen at the upper right side of the scliced bag, this string normaly gets tighten to close the garbage bag when it is filled up - these garbage bags are very common in Germany and have a width (unsliced) of roughly 40cms so the sliced foils width is by 80cms - as the fabric seems to have the same width as the sliced bag, the fabric have a width roughly 80cms Result: As the fabric as shown cannot fit into the stone in which it allegedly has been found, the whole vid/story is a (very bad) fake.

barbco196 Posted March 20, 2016 #13 Share Posted March 20, 2016 I'd like to be afflicted with a little pareidolia. I guess I just don't see anything, much less, an angel. Is it supposed to have wings?
Darkenpath25 Posted March 21, 2016 #14 Share Posted March 21, 2016 It looks more like the mysterious Thunderbird ( joking ) . All kinds of unusual images can form from a wrapped piece cloth that has been tucked down into a closed object that air and moisture as well as dust can reach for x amount of years . My brothers and myself have found old pieces of cloth and paper while exploring the woods as well as very old houses we have seen or thought we seen all kinds of things . Podo Posted March 23, 2016 #15 Share Posted March 23, 2016 This is wishful thinking at best and directed misinformation at worst.
