He had two additional warrants from a prior incident for attempted murder and aggravated robbery.
Houston has a lengthy criminal record, including a conviction
last year in state court for being in possession of a handgun with felony convictions. He got a two-year suspended sentence.
He got another two-year suspended sentence in 2004 when he was charged with unlawfully possessing a weapon.

It's reminds me of the story about the little girl who was watching the news with her parents. They showed a mug shot of the guy they were looking for and she asked why the police didn't keep him when they took his picture? Out of the mouths of babes...
I just saw his criminal record and he has 45 arrests, most of them felonies. I'm a little more than upset because this happened near our business. Everyone in the neighborhood was on alert until he was captured, thankfully this morning. Maybe they'll keep him this time because he shot a cop.
