What if you encountered an extraterrestrial?

What would you do if somehow you encountered or were encountered by an extraterrestrial from some place far from earth? There are countless numbers of abduction stories and stories right here on earth where people have met with beings from another world. In most of them the people never get a lot of in depth information about aliens, their backround, etc. If I ever met up with one I would probably get as much information from them as I could because it would be a chance of a lifetime.

First, I would try to make peace with them by slowly walking up to'em with my hands up. If they are friendly(or at least I feel I can trust them), I may even board their ship. If I can communicate with'em, OH MAN the questions I have. First off I'd ask who the Christian God Jehova is. Followed by tons of questions. If they show to be violent, today isnt their lucky day, cuz they've just screwed with the wrong human. Peices of their UFO will soon be hanging on my wall(After I sell some of the peices of course =D).

I would definitely want to find out what their interest is with us and our planet. I would want to know where they're from. I would let them abduct me and perform experiments on me as long as they aren't deadly ones. I'd love to see their spacecraft and their home if they would bring me to see it. Most importantly if I could, I would let them know that not all people are evil like our government, and some of us actually have good intentions.

very true. we do not yet hae "universal translators". it would be a while for us to learn to communicate with each other, unless of course they have the abilities to speed up the process.

What would I do?.. hmmm.. I would approach or spy on them keeping a trusty firearm in hand, bring a camera (to record a film) and if they approached me

A. I will approach with peace (firearm still in possesion just in case) and ask them questions and other stuff

B. if the Aliens are Reptillians, I will try to stay hidden with my sights focused on em'...just in case...

C. if the Aliens hostile or evil I will either

-continue filming them from a long range distance, hoping they will not see me

-if the see me, I may shoot them, hoping they will be wounded or killed

-RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

and if I'm somewhat lucky, I would capture one alive and interrogate it for info
