This is really cool. You just plug in a location and time zone and you get emails when the ISS is going to make a visible pass over your location. I've watched it a couple of times and it's awesome. Looks brighter than Venus and it moves really fast. The site gives the direction of travel and peak elevation in degrees so you know where to look in the sky.

Well it's a better suggestion than getting tipped off by the local news...
It's a really spectacular experience and one I wouldn't mind repeating.
The cynics would say it's an other boring old light in the sky.
But it has a certain grace and beauty when it does a fly-by.
Takes your breath away every time your fortunate to see it.
And it's more regular than a solar eclipse.
