I was photographing the night sky and this image was amongst others i had taken, i had it on a long exposure time as i was taking star images but the clouds kept spoiling my fun.
I called it spark, because it's like a massive spark.

I have no idea, but I can say that it looks a good deal closer to the lens than the sky behind it.
Would you be able to post the original photo without cropping or resizing?

I have no idea what it is, but it’s not a bug.
Starting with the fact that it has only 4 “legs”, too smooth for bug legs, anatomy is wrong even for a crushed bug and Belial would notice a crushed bug on the lens etc.
I guess it only looks solid because of long exposure. But what it is, I can’t even guess.

I too would like to see the original image. might give clues as to the source of the shape in question. Long exposures can be tricky for a variety of reasons.
