Bling Posted October 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) In Anchorage, Alaska there is a gathering of hundreds of vampire enthusiasts that sign up for the “Vamps at Sea” cruise that starts in Alaska and will stop at the usual ports such as Juneau, Glacier Bay and Ketchikan. The cruise liner is a Holland American ship that has been decked out for the event complete with costume ball and massive black curtains to block out the light when wanted. There is even a scavenger hunt and a vampire talent show hosted on board. The cruise itself is hosted by vampire fans, even Linda Wolf, president of Los Angele’s based agency Cruises Cruises Cruises Inc, is a vamp fan. The kicker for the fans is the scheduled speaker, a relative of Bram Stoker, the famous and well known author of Dracula. http://vampsatsea.com/ Edited October 4, 2012 by Bling
Ashotep Posted October 4, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2012 Its an excuse to dress up like a vampire without people questioning your sanity kind of like Halloween is. Just a costume party with a theme. Does sound like fun.

coldethyl Posted October 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2012 It'd be fun for a couple of days then I'd get tired of it.
Eldorado Posted October 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2012 I'd love to see the faces of the Somalian pirates who capture that wee boat.
