I have to say that I rather enjoyed those & will be checking out more of this. Being a fan of DJ Shadow, Bonobo, Handsome Boy Modeling School, Asia Born, Q-Bert, etc, this is right up my ally.

Some crazy old school Dutch rap.. No doubt curiosities for all the 'english natives' on here.

Phaeton80,

Because you have nationalized this thread,

I will be blunt:

I initially found it lyrically disappointing

for its being propped as a mirror that, in effect,

distorts versus reflects the mindset of a people.

Next, I noticed:

[Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Cortez the Killer]

That has to be Neil Young's most ambiguously amoral song.

Thence, it behooves me to point out the fact that Incas,

for their barbaric practice of human sacrifice,

were not a norm for natives. By far,

the vast majority of so-called savages were never so barbaric.

Now, I will concede my enjoying most of your selections herein

before elsewhere soliciting Neil Young posts,

beginning with a dedication.

What a delightfully strange rant.

Thanks for enduring your erm.. ordeal.. reading this dissapointing, even amoral lyrics laced thread.

Pardon me. My asking a 16-year-old about this thread prior to my exploring it

set me self-defensively on soapbox. My error. Owing to her idealism's

being favorably formative, I'll leave the rest to her fine acumen.

Peace.
