Giant triangle shaped UFO over Homer, MI

This is not my own story, this is something my dad told me. When he was younger, I think it was in the 70's, it might of been 78. He says that there was a giant triangle shaped UFO over Homer, Michigan. He aso says that is was seen by many people in the city, and that it was in the newspapers. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard of it, or had seen it. When ever I ask him what he thinks it was, being a hard skeptic of almost all things, he always states that he thinks it was some military project.

It's always nice to think it's military..it makes us warm and fuzzy knowing it's man made, rather then some intelligent being from another planet...because that of course scares us and bruises our egos..so it can't be real, right?

srsly tho, many reports around that year was noted. Usually silent and stationary for hrs sometimes.

I think your father is probably right, the military seems to have a lot of hidden projects, maybe it could be aliens, but i doubt it.

It seems many believers think that skeptics are scared of the unexplained/supernatural/alien, but i really don't think that is the case. I am a skeptic, i don't really believe we have been visited by aliens, BUT i hope i am wrong and the believers are right.
