your interest in cryptozoology beings, bigfoot , loch ness , etc is just your hobby?

do you get here just to discuss some pics, analise them , etc?

i come here cause sometimes when i "give up" on cryptozoology´s bases this site gives me a little help. to find some people really into this stuff makes me want to continue. im studing bioloy and talked to some cryptozoology "organisations" so they could help me in some directions. cause as you may know, cryptozoology isnt a science, you cant make a living from it, thats why im studying biology but will maybe focus on cryptozoology sh** later.

Hi,

You seem to be doing all the proper things for a future in cryptozoology. A good knowledge of biology won't go astray. What are your main areas of interest?

We've already decided that we will be a cryptozoologist when we grow up

And, no offense meant, it'd be "cryptozoological beings" although most people just say "cryptids".

yeah, we're correcting people's grammar, what has this world come to?

I'm going to play devil's advocate here, as it seems although a dirty job, someone has to do it.

If you can't make a living at it then why do you want to do it?

You might be able to make a living at it. especially if you do stuff for shows like the stuff they have on Discovery or TLC, or even write a book or too. However, just don't become some weird nut job like Erik-Beckjord, in which case "Jon-Erik Beckjord,BA,MBA, has run three brick-and-mortar

CZ museums in Malibu,L.A. and SF,CA and has spent 28 years

doing field work." will be your made up background so you sound nifty.

Other then that, I hope you make it at what you want to do.

because some people have such a passion for it that they dont care how they are involved as long as they are involved somehow.

i think ill specialise myself in oceanography, study of marine life.

i still got some time to decide my area of interest.

i think theres not much hope among cryptozoologysts. few things have been acomplished...really.

hope my interest doesnt fade away before i could finish all my bilogy studies.

What beckjord does is parasite on to any Cryptozoological subject. Claim he's an expert on it, add a lunatic theory or 3 of his own, and then calls it a day. He's done more damage to Cryptozoology than any skeptic ever could..

If you haven't heard much about him, consider yourself a lucky man..
