UFO Sighting above Washington, D.C circa 1952

Hey all, it's been a VERY long time since I've posted here, but there has been something nagging me about a famous "UFO" sighting that occurred back in 1952 above our nations capital. Since the first time I saw the video from that "sighting" I had noticed light anomalies coming from the ground. Almost like a "beam" of light that actually pulsated with these "objects." The sort of anomaly you get when using a projector and haze, fog, dirt, etc are present. This got me wondering, is it possible this event was simply a practice run or an event via a test of some new technology by our Government?

First I'll post the original video of the "UFO" sighting:

If you make this video full screen all you have to do is look towards the middle/lower/left side of the screen. There is a tree that is in the way of the origin or source of what I believe to be the anomaly from the projector. You can see the light go from the "crafts" all the way down towards that area. The faint beam that is cast actually pulsates with these objects. This is what got me to pondering if this wasn't some testing of a skunkworks psychological test. That is to say, the Government testing the plausibility of being able to project an image in the sky and what effect it has on the population that witnessed said event.

Second I have found a project that denotes the Government ACTUALLY has the technology of creating images in the sky:

Forget all the conspiracy theory nonsense that is pinned on factual military projects by borderline insane individuals, whom see a Ghost, Monster, Vampire or UFO in absolutely every event that "must" be under full control of a hidden group of Illuminate :P . The important factor here is that the Military was actually considering using an image of "God" to dissuade the Iraqi people from war with the U.S. having them turn on the terrorists. Transversely, showing that they already have and have perfected the ability of creating holographic images in the sky. With this in mind it makes complete sense for what was seen above Washington D.C. in 1952.

Anytime a person can find factual evidence for what has caused a mass "UFO" sighting is a win in my book and actual science. This explanation is much more feasible than little green men, from a minimum of 6 light years away, traveling all the way to our tiny little pale blue dot. :tu:

edited: Forgot how to embed video for a minute. Like I said, been years since I've started a topic lol.

Forgive my instant (and possibly incorrect) immediate dismissal without properly checking, but... is the video you have posted genuinely purported to be film from the event???? or is it from some documentary? AFAIK, and this topic has been covered in pretty immense detail on other threads (don't have time to link right now, but I'm sure someone will..), there is NO video/film whatsoever of this event.

Analysing videos created by tv shows is just a tad unlikely to be a useful exercise...

There's a gag in one of the Doctor Who novels that it took the character from the 80s weeks to convince a character from the 25th century that Star Trek wasn't a documentary (given that she lived in a Federation of alien species, and routinely used a teleporter, you can see how she might have gotten mixed up. Throw in the odd genocide by Dalek and you can imagine how she'd have gone "so THAT was what the Federation was like before the first Dalek War....").

Okay I'm glad this was established as fake because as a native Washingtonian that does not even look like my Capitol Building  Here it is. Decide for yourself:

Edited to add - in the footage it might look different because of the year but the shape seems wider to me in person. I don't know. The whole thing looks wrong to me. Just my thoughts.

Radar does not see such images. .

RADAR detects, it does not see.

Has it been remodelled in that time? It is different for sure, no roof peak below the dome structure or columns.

Maybe you remember title of that novel? I would love to read it.
