Being prepared to wage war and waging war against the people are two different things. I believe both sides are ready to go to a few blows at this point in time but all out war will not happen in our lifetime. Im sorry but the Govmt is just not strong enough to resist.

Are you kidding?  There has been a war on of some kind or the other against the american people for decades.  War On Drugs has been a war on the rights of the american people since it began.

War On Terror is in the same class, but on steroids.

We've always had a boogey man during my entire life.  The communists/Socialists during the cold war,  the war on drugs, and now the war on terror.  Then we create/strengthen agencies to fight these boogeymen.  The CIA/Intellegence community for the cold war.  The DEA for the war on drugs.  Now Homeland Security for the war on terror.  Now people are all surprised that these agencies are looking for the their boogeymen in the American populace.
