Si mi amigo (Yes my friend) about La Zona del Silencia, on a Mexican TV series on the paranormal goings on in the country. I'm concerned on the drug cartel violence would move into the "Zone of Silence" to avoid law enforcement and Mexican military incursions. It's the kind of places where it's nice, lonely and quiet for one not only to get lost in or to commit crimes, it's where an anti-social nature lover will make himself at home. I know I enjoyed my recent trip up the Palm Springs tramway trip and went hiking in Mount San Jacinto on Sunday...and cell phones had no signal way up 8000 feet above sea level. But no reports of any UFOs appear or hovered over me. LOL.

In July 1970, an Athena test missile launched from a U.S. military base near Green River, Utah toward White Sands Missile Range lost control and fell in the region. The rocket was carrying two small containers of cobalt 57, a radioactive element. Immediately, a team of specialists arrived to find the fallen rocket. The aerial search lasted three weeks. Finally, when the rocket was found, a road was built to transport the wreckage, along with a small amount of contaminated top soil. As a result of the US Air Force recovery operations there, a number of myths and stories relating to the area arose, including "strange magnetic anomalies that prevent radio transmission", mutations of flora and fauna, and extraterrestrial visitations.
