Rick dyer tent footage, Dead bigfoot.

I bet The film is gonna be a paid for download and that will be his motivation. There will be plenty if people gullible enough to buy it only to fast forward to the end to see that he shot nothing and it was one big hoax. I hope the FBI are investigating this moron and pull him in later today once word gets around. Hopefully the first fool to buy the film will broadcast the information and nobody else will buy it

Wasn't he laughing when talking about Bigfoot believers and how he rips them off so easily? Or some such.... Clearly his motivation is not just money, but to prove he is smarter then bigfoot believers, and to prove it by taking their money to be shown that they have bought into a hoax.

Sakari:

Hell, you love Rick and you know it.

Most of the sights I normally follow are pegged right this red hot minute, all I'm getting are 404 errors. Personally, I hope Dyer goes to jail, but it's unclear what the warrant is for, looks like he had some shady ebay deals with cars going on, on the side and this Bigfoot thing is just some additional stuff. Then I saw a blurb that said Dyer was investigated back in 2008 and the only reason he didn't get arrested then was because the guy whom he duped out of $50K refused to testify because he was embarrassed that he'd been duped.

I will have to give Dyer points for having balls, not much for brains but balls-o-plenty.

Side note, I wasn't aware that you could look up issued warrants......seems that would tip off the persons the warrants were issued for and they could hide/disappear.

I think that's what it's all about really. "I'm so smart and ya'll are so dumb." I'm thinking he got beat up a lot on the play ground as a kid.

It's true, and anyone can look up issued warrants. This is how they get the publics help in tipping them off as to where the fugitives are.

I thought RD's docu-fiction had already aired on tv? Or is it going to be a pay-per-view docu-fiction?

You all make me laugh :)

It is quite entertaining to watch people get fooled more then once, twice, three times, four times......It is like throwing an invisible ball for a dog. No offense, but that is how it looks to me.

Anyway, thought this was worth posting for you, although I doubt it will make anyone see the light.

Bigfoot News April 29, 2013 Part 2

Update on the Rick Dyer fraud investigation. This story is unfolding and changing rapidly and will probably change even more in the near future. The sad part of it is that I got played by some Dyer haters who impersonated a Dyer Team Tracker member and fed me the story about Dyer being investigated by the FBI. They created an email account under the name of a TT member and then impersonated the guy. I suspect Don Boucher and those around him for that skullduggery.

However, at least part of the story seems to be checking out. I had one of my sources, who is a bail bondsman, look up the federal warrants. He has access to some sort of law enforcement (LE) system where you can look up warrants that most folks do not have access to. There is indeed a federal warrant out for Rick Dyer’s arrest for wire and interstate fraud, and the warrant is dated 2013........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

To be fair though Robert Lindsay is a creep. He's constantly blogging about rapes and other stuff that shouldn't really be plastered all over.

I wouldn't consider Lindsay or his "sources" reliable.

Obviously Dyer is a total fraudster and is milking everyone who'll give him the time of day. It's boring now, but it won't be long until hid latest hoax is blown apart and he can spend another few years conconting another ruse for people who don't know who he is.

He's a redneck chancer and he'll get his comeuppance.

I wonder how many people paid for membership?

That right there is the funny part. This is the internet, and google is known by 6 year olds. Anyone that reads anything of his, noew claims, etc. will know " who he is ", and would know his past.

That does not stop some people.

As I have said, the guy is a genius.

His customers and followers, are on the other end of that scale.

What might be fun is going on one of his Outings and taking a lot of video, then editing it to make Rick look like an idiot. Then go to the various sites that advertise his safaris and post it to the comments on all of those sites.

Either that or take the video of Rick showing how to find Bigfoot and overlay sound bytes off any of your favorite bigfoot movies. Then post it on Youtube.

I can see a lot of Entertainment value out of a Rick Trip.... Still pretty spendy though.

I think I'd never live it down that I went to one of his outings and I'd be willing to bet that he won't allow you to video anything.

I imagine he has them sign some kind of non-disclosure agreement, to prevent "defamation".

Here's the review of the movie from the Toronto film festival.....thing.....whatever it is.

http://thetfs.ca/2013/04/28/hot-docs-review-shooting-bigfoot/

The very idea of hunting Bigfoot brings up images of groups of bored kids tromping through the forest during their summer vacation. It’s certainly not a pastime for an adult…or so one would think. As it turns out, there are scores of amateur cryptozoologists determined to find proof of the existence of sasquatch.

Director Morgan Matthews very courageously joins forces with four such characters and heads out to the wilderness with nothing but a camera, some firearms, peanut butter and a can of tinned mackeral to try and figure out just what the draw of this illusive beast is to these men who have devoted their lives to the search.

There’s old friends Dallas and Wayne, small town guys who claim to have had sasquatch throw rocks at them after they bust out some of their patented Bigfoot calls, and old hand Tom Biscardi, an abrasive 37 year veteran of the hunt, and finally, Rick Dyer, a con man of the highest order who’s already got one failed sasquatch hoax under his belt – Matthews heads out with each of them as they follow their own leads to what they’re sure will finally bag them their ultimate dream: incontrovertible proof of the hairy creature.

This is a hoot of a documentary. Each of the Bigfoot hunters (as well as their various team members and fellow believers) that Matthews has tracked down are genuine characters who are so passionate about their quest that it’s warped their minds to varying degrees of hilarity and downright scariness. Dallas and Wayne, the most endearing and least harmless of the bunch seem to have a pure childlike love for the idea that saquatch represents–hope and the belief that there’s something still fantastic left to be discovered in the world–while the largely unpleasant Biscardi and Dyer are in it for the potential fame and fortune. Matthews gently picks apart each of their various motivations and strategies while also attempting to document proof of either a hoax or the real thing. The result is like watching Blair Witch Project as imagined by Christopher Guest.

Is Shooting Bigfoot Essential Hot Docs Viewing?

A huge yes on this one. This is sure to be a big crowd pleaser and is the perfect type of film to watch with an appreciative audience. This will also surely yield a Q&A to remember.

He certainly has. He'll go down in history..... As the biggest tool the bigfoot community has ever encountered.

An entertaining tool at that.

How is he going to reveal the body when he apparently sold it to a Vegas casino? There will be people who despite this revelation that its a guy in a suit who still believ he has a body.

It's such a bad picture it isn't funny. Besides? Wasn't Dyer supposed to have shot the critter in the back of the head with a .30-06? That would have made a mess of the face. I saw Dyer was on his radio/internet show complaining about the editing of the film.

I think its hilarious. He has dragged it out for at least 6 months and is going to keep going as long as he's got people to keep his financial status above ground.

The people whom pay for anything attached to Rick Dyer the Master Tracker, are the idiots. Not dyer.

Comes a point where I'm forced to agree with you. He's a known hoaxer, you can't Google "Rick Dyer Bigfoot" without the infamous 2008 hoax of the monkey suit in the freezer coming up. So you would have to be a complete dunce to take this guy's word for anything, let alone give him money to teach you his "tracking techniques".

according to a post i read they claimed yes he shot it but it was n the neck not the head, so i guess that makes dryyrer a hell of a marksman too to add along his list of what nots...

That was something else I noticed myself. According to what I've read about the "Incident" the Bigfoot actually went after one of the cameraman and that's when Dyer is supposed to have shot the critter in the back of the head with a .30-06. A .30-06 is a damned powerful round and at close range would have passed through the Bigfoot.....meaning the cameraman was in is a double threat situation from a large, seriously p***ed off critter and an idiot with a powerful rifle at close range.

Me thinks this guy might well have left a wad in his "Fruit of the Looms".
