This "dry" drop(s) have hit me innumerable times. It will feel like a drop of water and I'll go to wipe it off, but there is nothing there. The last time it happened, I was on UM, typing and it felt like 3 drops hit my fingers while I was typing. ...nothing there.
We had a discussion about this in the Ghost Forum. I believe the title of the thread was Ecto Plasm.
I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one... I've also had this happen to me... ever since I was a child. This isnt just a "feeling"....I've seen them. Never more than a drop and usually on my arms. I've tasted it also...same as you no taste.
This may sound crazy but I was wondering if you're baptized?
whatever this is these people arent imagining it. I was just sitting in my front room and out of nowhere a warm drop of water hit me on my left forearm, at first I thought i had it was only a feeling but when I looked there was a a drop of water that was big enough that it splashed a lil bit further down my arm. I looked at the ceiling , looked at the whole room and there was no evidence as to where it came from. So I looked it up on goggle which led me here, reading back a few comments someone suggested it could be condensation from a vent so I went to look and the vent is on the opposite side of the room. When it occured it I this feeling it could have been a super natural occurance.... I dunno very strange indeed
Im inclined to believe that these phantom drops are caused by condensation ...then gravity taking over.. because of its nature... condesation isnt going to drip drip drip like a faucet... would be rather intermittant with its dispersal thus would seem to drip from nowhere... trust me condensation on white ceilings or even vents isnt the easiest thing to see...but it happens quite a bit in my own bathroom... i really need to install a better exhaust fan.
Search on the Android App Store for "Mothras Unexplained Mysteries" for the app I am very proud of...

I don't know if anyone can tell me what's going on here, or offer some suggestions, but I figure this is the best place for something like this.
Four times I have been dripped on in my home when there is no discernible water source.
The first time I was walking through our bathroom (which has two doors) and a large drop of water landed on my forearm. Since I was in the middle of the bathroom, right between the sink and the tub, I checked both to see if they were running or wet. Both had not been used in hours and were bone dry. Next I climbed on the counter to check out the ceiling above me to see if maybe it was leaking, no such luck; I was left thoroughly confused. I ran out of the bathroom to get my mum and tell her what had happened, she checked out the ceiling as I stood back and watched. While she was feeling around for a wet spot another drop hit me on the same place on the forearm. This time I was standing near the toilette, which was not running, and the ceiling above me did not appear to be wet, either (this was confirmed moments later when we dragged a small latter into the room to check the area).
At some point maybe a month later I was once again standing in the bathroom and doing my makeup when a large drop of water hit me on the shoulder. Once again, neither the sink nor the shower had been running and the ceiling appeared dry. I shrugged it off as something that couldn't be explained, same as last time.
The latest occurrence has inspired me to share these happenings: several minutes ago, while sitting on the living room couch with the laptop on my lap, I felt something run down the back of my arm. Thinking a bug had crawled on me, I reached to brush it off, and, to my surprise, it was wet. The roof is a little high to check for dampness, but it's never leaked there before.
I'd like to mention that all the water drops were a decent size and only occurred once in each location (never the same exact spot twice). If there were a leak big enough to drop that kind of water, I'm pretty sure it would drip more than once/would be visible.
Sorry for the long read.
Any suggestions? I'm a little freaked out by all this.
Bathrooms tend to be places where there is a lot of humidity (From showers and such) and therefore water will collect in the ceiling sometimes. Perhaps that dripped onto your arm?
