James "Jim" Bosley

Agent D. Scully

In the town where I live, there was a doctor who ran his practice for many years from his house. He actually used to be our family doctor. He was married twice, his first wife died under bizarre circumstances, and the rumor was that he had done away with her. He got married again, but soon after he started to act strangely, carrying a gun around his house wherever he went and locking himself in his room for days on end. His wife was worried, and it led her to move back in with her parents. He followed her and beat the doorknob off the door to get into their house. She had the cops come and get him, with the orders to take him to get help, as she thought he was slowly going crazy. They showed up, he ran from them into the bathroom and shot himself in the head.

His wife and other members of the family claim to have seen a dark hooded figure that reminds them of the grim reaper, and feeling a presence. Some have gone to speculate that this presence isn't Dr. Bosley himself, but instead what drove him to madness in the first place, or possibly the spirit of is first wife. People have reported walking past the house and seeing a dark figure shuffling around upstairs even though nobody was home, and his wife was scared that whatever was in the house was going to get her.

I think there was even an episode of Paranormal State filmed from his house, it's called dark practices, if you want to hear more about it. I just thought I'd share this local story with everyone (:
