Left-Field Posted September 29, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 29, 2009 The sad thing is a large number of people would say it's appropriate for police to behave in such a manner. I find it to be grotesque - especially the pictures they begin showing towards the end of the video of police at the G20 summits in Pittsburgh and London. This type of police behaviour is escalating. It's a sickening trend. And the more people see of it the more acceptable it's going to become until a point is reached where the people take back and reassert their rights. Our government isn't supposed to be in the business of intimidating it's people. They are suppose to serve, represent, and protect us. Unfortunately, that process has been flipped. The government now treats it's people as if we are suppose to serve, represent, and protect them. They then use displays and tactics of intimidation to instill fear in people in attempts to silence them. It's rotten, and it shouldn't be done.
