Still Waters Posted April 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Proof that life was nasty, brutish and short in the dinosaur age has emerged from the study of one particularly unfortunate tyrannosaur. The skull of the Daspletosaurus showed that it suffered numerous injuries during life, at least some of which were probably inflicted by a member of its own species. Then after the creature died it was partly eaten by another Daspletosaurus, the evidence suggests. http://www.telegraph...ntists-say.html
Atuke Posted April 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) I'm sure predatory Dino's feasted on their own kind if they had the chance. Just like some reptiles and birds do today. Two T-Rex's having a territorial dispute would have been an awesome sight. And the winner gets to feast on the loser...epic Edited April 10, 2015 by Atuke
Lucas Cooper Merrin Posted April 10, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2015 How do tearing and scoring of feeding bite marks differ from the bite marks of attacks and fighting ones?
