This is interesting....

Often in the past I came across ancient writings or references of people who had 6 digits..

6 fingers and toes.. sometimes they were seen as royalty...

Were they from another race??? Aliens???

I found ancient some petroglyphs that recorded 6 digited alien??? races ..

Not a statue, but: At Three Rivers in New Mexico you can find quite a lot of very interesting old petroglyphs. Several of them are showing hands with six fingers. The one in the picture seems to be reaching toward the sky, with a wavy design over it. Can it be a snake/flying serpent or the Milky Way?

Behind Pueblo Bonito is a series of petroglyphs depicting six-toed feet made in the late 900s or early 1000s. Although the meaning is unknown, extra digit appendages can be found on other Anasazi rock art as well. The lower petroglyph has since been covered with earth and can no longer be viewed by park visitors.

General surveys of skeletal collections from Arizona for evidence of trauma and pathology led to the identification of polydactyly in two subadults. Polydactyly is a congenital condition characterised by the presence of extra digits on the hands or feet. Both affected subadults exhibit a sixth digit in the form of a branching fifth metatarsal. One of the affected individuals is an infant from the Tapia del Cerrito site exhibiting Y-shaped fifth metatarsals indicative of postaxial type A polydactyly. The second individual is a juvenile from the Nuvakwewtaqa (Chavez Pass Ruin) site exhibiting a left fifth metatarsal with a lateral branch, also diagnosed as postaxial type A polydactyly. These two cases appear to be the first examples of polydactyly from archaeological contexts identified among subadults, and bring the total number of known cases from the American Southwest to six. Discovery of so many examples of this relatively rare condition amongst the Puebloan people of the Southwest adds to the evidence that, rather than simply being an artistic motif, rock art depictions featuring hands and feet with six digits were probably inspired by observation of the condition amongst living people. Furthermore, burial treatment of the Tapia del Cerrito infant suggests that polydactyly may have conferred a special status on the bearer. Copyright © 2006 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

Dont go so far as to think an alien race. Having six fingers, known as sexdactyly, hexadactyly, or even polydactyly is a autosomal dominant trait, meaning that is actually quite normal to occur within the human race. It has just been phased out over time, and while polydactylism is dominant, it doesnt necessarily mean it is the most abundant. In fact there are small populations of localized hexadacylism all over the world, it is just seldom heard about.

Six Fingers

Hey My name is Christos Meli I am from Athens,Greece. I now reside in the USA,I cam across your website and was wondering what having 6 fingers intales. I have 6 fingers on each hand.Every first born male in my bloodline on my fathers side to also had 6 fingers on each hand. My fathers bloodline originated in Nikosia,Cyprus.Well thats how far back I could find records.Over the years of trying to find why I have found out that when I was born In Athens the Doctor who was there when I was born went Bananas running up and down the hospital yelling the king is born.I have also found out that one of the Purest Royal bloodlines in Greece and Cyprus also all there first born sons had 6 fingers. The problem is I found this on the net searching archives years ago.The only problem with the acrhives is they don't know anyone on the

bloodline after 1832 B.C.Which leaves me clueless.I cannont find this site for I think it's shut down. But I would like some answer to weather or not this indeed means I am of royal descent.

I continue to be amazed at how CS can simultaneously depend on the almost ridiculously prosaic and absolute, dead-pan literalism.

There's a form of olydactylism that is dominant in cats. It arose in the 19th century somewhere in Massachusetts. That's why so many kitties in the eastern U.S. have 6 or 7 toes on various feet.

Also, there are certain valleys in Appalachia where this mutation is common in humans (all the families there have been there for a long time so there are lots of distant cousins living near each other

I was all ready to come back with a "man, that's a slur against the good people of the mountains" when I remembered my father telling stories about families with an extra thumb where he grew up. Apparently, they used it as a cigarette holder.

Klass all the way, that.

I know a woman who's daughter was born with a small extra pinky on both hands. She had them removed when she was a baby. I also had a cat with extra toes on each paw.

According to popular superstition, extra digits in a hand is a sign of great good or evil. An extra finger on the right hand is supposed to bring good luck, ill-fortune if on the left. Six fingers on both hands indicates that its possessor will be famous or infamous in some way, like Gath, the Philistine giant mentioned in the Bible (1 Chr 20:6).

Mudras & Hand Symbolism

and no I don't take ever thing on this site as fact just think its a fun read pertaining to the subject.

I love this guy

Hrithik Roshan, he is a famous bollywood actor. He has an extra thumb on his right hand.

Considering the subject it's kinda weird cause He was in the movie Koi... Mil Gaya that his father Rakesh Roshan directed. It's like an ET knock off. In the movie the alien has the double thumb too, so Hrithik and the alien are some how connected.

Race to the Moon for Nuclear Fuel

The Future

People are eventually going to be working and living in space. Construction and operation of lunar solar power stations may make that happen. Or perhaps it will happen to support a thriving space tourism business. Whatever drives it, there will be a need to use the resources available in space. It is too expensive to drag all the needed ingredients up from the Earth. The resources are available on the Moon, Mars, and asteroids. Participants in the Space Resources Roundtable agree that we need to explore extraterrestrial bodies for resources and to learn how to extract those resources from them. Experts in the mineralogy and chemical composition of extraterrestrial materials will play important roles in the search and mining of space resources. Like Earth explorers through the ages, we must live off the land and a new breed of scientist, the applied cosmochemist, will be there to see it happen.
