do you even have to ask?! i havent seen it, but i know its awesome!

lol, yeah... Can't wait for it to come out over here...

I haven't seen it yet but I think each one has got better than the previous. It's a shame they couldn't have included Morbius in the trilogy somewhere seen as though he won't get used in a Spidey flick (it would be great if they did a solo horror style movie about him ala Werewolf by Night and Man-Thing). I have also heard that the newcomers Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds, even HHH have done good.

Loved the first.

The second was boring.

The third looks like utter crap. No thanks.

Yeah, as much as I love vampires, ass-kicking women and comic book movies, I will have to pass on this (or at least wait to rent it). I couldn't make it through the second one, and from what I've read this one is far worse.

gotta hand it to Jessica Biel, though, for the buff up. I want her personal trainer immediately.

As the character that arguably revamped the comic book movie genre, Wesley Snipes' Daywalker deserved a good send-off with this, the third and final Blade movie. Unfortunately, as with the last trilogy to invoke 'Trinity', it's a crushing disappointment.

Sadly, the blame can be laid squarely at the feet of David Goyer who, after writing the first two instalments, pulls double duty here, and makes a right old balls of it, lacking the directorial skills to redeem his surprisingly shoddy script, instead overloading the action sequences with MTV editing, while hanging his actors out to dry.

What with Blade hanging up his sword, Blade Trinity was meant to serve as a franchise-continuing introduction to the Nightstalkers. However, Biel has precious little to do, while Reynolds' usual razor-sharp comic instincts are buried beneath a barrage of one-liners so bad they come complete with tumbleweed.

So if the Nightstalkers aren’t worthy, then it’s up to Blade himself to redeem matters. However, try as he might, the always-slick Snipes is allowed no room to shine, and ultimately – notably in his face-offs with Dominic Purcell's appallingly anaemic Dracula – ends up simply retreading past triumphs.

The Blade films, previously, have been extraordinarily divisive – fans tend to either like the first Blade and hate Part II, or vice versa. At least with Blade Trinity, Goyer has made a movie that everyone will agree sucks.

Chances are that Goyer's cack-handed direction has killed a franchise he helped birth. Blade has left the building – pity it's by way of the top floor.

Definitely agree on that...I just like the fact that my music name "trinity" is used in it...

It actually gave me the idea to do some flash movie with it, but I am just learning with micromedia flash...so it will be a long way before I figure it out and show anyone....

I liked both the 1st and 2nd and thought that the 3rd look pretty good, granted I've only seen a couple of adverts for it. I know what a crap film is (House of the Dead for example) but I think I'm one of those people that can enjoy most things, even when the majority don't, like the american Godzilla for example.

Oh well... Atleast we can look forward to Snipes as The Black Panther, as things are looking like he might be bringing that comic book hero to life next.

Hey, don't get me wrong i enjoyed AVP and Resident Evil 2! I just think that, compared to the first one, well..

I've come to see this as 'The Matrix Syndrome'. Where the first is awesome and everything that follows is shabby, horribly written and directed and pumped full of special effects and fight scenes to milk off the success of the first without actually being very good.

'The Matrix Syndrome' lol...

I actually liked Blade 2 more than Blade 1... I think lol... I ain't seen the first in ages. I liked the idea of the new disease thing and the effects for it was cool. But yeah, it was a bit lacking in some areas. Blade vs. Nomak was cool as hell though.

yeah i think the 2nd is better than the first too. how could you think it was boring, Burnside? the entire thing was action, much like RE: A. i think the 3rd is gonna be fantastic. i cant wait to see it. hopefuly ill get to this weekend. and i dont care what the critics say. they are friggin dumbasses. they give so many good movies bad ratings like Resident Evil and Without a Paddle. screw them. Trinity is gonna be awesome.

I just thought it was terrible. Terrible story, terrible everything. And the 3rd will easily be the worst.

lol. its funny that you think that since you loved REA and this is basically the same kinda of thing. cheesy story line and a sh**load of action.

I wouldn't say it was even remotely the same thing.

More along the lines of what the Matrix is.

Amazing first movie with awesome story, effects, acting, direction etc etc followed by 2 terrible sequels with crappy action and terrible direction with storys less entertaining than my 12th birthday. Plsu, it takes itself too seriously, whereas REA obiously did not. I liked REA because it was RE, naturally, it could not have been bad to me.

I could say the same to you, why do you like this but not AVP? Doesn't really work does it, since both movies are incredibly different.

I *sigh* have to agree with burnside, tohugh the sequel was actually pretty good. But I do think that the 3rd movie is gonna be much like the matrix:revolutions, rushed, pumped ful of action and and ending that really made me angry. grin2.gif

i didnt like AVP because that actualy had almost no action what so ever. but the action that it did have was good. i just felt it wasnt enough. Blade 1 was an amazing movie. it had really good action and a good storyline. Blade 2 had more action, a lot less and a bad story line, but it just entertained me more. i think 3 is gonna be along the same lines as 2 was, so i know i will enjoy it. mainly i wanna see it because i wanna see how the story ends.

and as for the matrix, i thought all 3 of them were really good. although 2 had too much action for its own good. it was still entertaining tho.

i saw Blade 3 last night. it was SOOOO GOOD!!! i think its the best one out the series. less, but better action than the 2nd, more story line, and only a little bad acting. plus Ryan Reynolds is friggin hilarious in it. it wasnt NEARLY as bad as the critics made it sound. but what do they know....absolutley nothing! The action scenes are quite amazing and very well done. i highly recommend going to see it. if you enjoy extremely entertaining movies, then you wont be dissapointed

Regarding "Blade: Trinity", Triple H mentioned how Wesley Snipes was being rude to everyone on the set but him. HHH suggested that this reason could have been since HHH is 6'4" and a professional wrestler, and Snipes wouldn't willingly want to deal with a response from that. HHH said that Snipes argued and almost became physical with the director, as well as taking advantage of several stuntmen by getting extra physical with them. Snipes, however, was not that way with HHH.
