When you quote you must be sure to have

at the beginning of the quote.

When i quote you, this shows up:

the quote part means it's a quote, there's your name and the date and time in there. see?

Just hit the quote button under someones post, and hit ADD REPLY.

Don't do anything other than that with the text that appears. You'll quote the persons post.

MK ULTRA , the simplest way to get the quotes to work is to add the code

Step1.) type in [ QUOTE ] (no spaces) or press the QUOTE button available when you are adding your reply .

Step2.) insert quoted text ..

Step3.) type in [/ QUOTE ] (no spaces and remember the forward /) or press the close all tags button .

too many Quote codes in a post will cause it to appear the way the last few posts have . original.gif

Exactly. make sure at the start of the quote it has "[ quote ]" and after the last word of the quote it has  "[ /quote ]"

there shouldnt be any other quote codes anywhere else or it wont work.

Here's an actual code example you can copy and paste if need be :

[QUOTE]This text will be quoted[/QUOTE]

Just substitute the text between the quote tags for the text you want to quote in your post.

I really don't understand why this is being made to be so compicated tongue.gif

Easy Instructions For Quotes For Beginners

Copy and Paste the quote.

Highlight the quote.

Click on QUOTE.

To Increase the Size

Highlight the writing to be increased in size.

Click on SIZE.

Do The Same With Color,etc.

To Insert a Link

Copy and Paste the link off of your URL bar onto the page.

Click on http://.

Hit backspace (since the http:// is highlighted hitting backspace will erase it. The link you are going to insert already has the http:// in front of it.)

Cut and paste the link into the box and hit OK.

Type whatever you want into the next box. Link or Click Here or Whatever.

Hit OK.

That's it.

Don't be confused by what you then see on your page. What you are seeing that looks like gibberish are the codes. Once you post it everything will look normal. original.gif
