LiquidSnake Posted July 10, 2011 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2011 Pakistan probably gives most of that money, to their generals. Plenty of corruption in their armed forces, means that most of the money is not used where it should be used. They have bought air defense systems, anti-ship defenses, etc neither of which are useful against the Taliban. Imo, Pakistan does not deserve the money it gets from the US. The US drone strikes, are perhaps only thing that is keeping the pressure on the Taliban in Waziristan. As far as I know, no ground operations have been conducted there by the Pakistani troops. Most of the aid goes to 'stopping the Indians'. The indians don't even want Pakistani anymore, they are more concerned by the threat of China.
